💌 Thank You, MOST Ministries!

The arrival of Most Ministries in the Peruvian Amazon was truly a great blessing. For six incredible days, we had the opportunity to work hand in hand, bringing vision care and eyeglasses to different communities throughout the Peruvian Amazon. 👓💚

The gratitude and joy of the people we served was truly special. But our mission was about much more than providing medical care. We also shared the Gospel, prayed with people, and shared meaningful moments that made a lasting impact in each community. 🙏🏽

We were also blessed with an amazing staff from Amazon Healthcare Mission. Serving in the Amazon is not only about the work we do - it is also about sharing life together, laughing, enjoying the local cuisine, experiencing the culture, and creating authentic memories in the Amazon. 🛶🍽️

Through Amakua Expeditions, we were honored to show our guests a little of our culture, our land, and the way of life here in the Peruvian Amazon. 🇵🇪🌎

We truly believe this was not goodbye, but see you soon! 🤝🏽

🇵🇪✈️ Tomorrow we will be welcoming Team #2619 from MOST Ministries to the Peruvian Amazon!

We are honored to receive this amazing team as they begin their mission alongside Amazon Healthcare Mission. Over the coming days, they will travel into remote Amazon communities to provide vision care, distribute eyeglasses, and share the hope and love of Jesus Christ.

💌Thank You for Standing with Us in the Peruvian Amazon

On behalf of Amazon Healthcare Mission and Just1 Global, we want to express our deepest gratitude to every missionary team, volunteer, church, and supporter who has chosen to serve alongside us in the Amazon.

Your passion, generosity, and willingness to serve have strengthened this ministry in countless ways. Every visit, every prayer, every act of love, and every sacrifice has made an eternal impact in the lives of the communities we serve.

While your teams return home, our mission continues. We keep traveling to remote villages, visiting pastors, encouraging families, and learning about the many physical and spiritual needs that still exist. We encounter communities lacking medical and dental care, clean drinking water, nutritious food, adequate housing, educational opportunities for children, and support for local churches. Reaching these villages is often difficult because of the distances and the rivers that separate them, but God faithfully provides the way to continue bringing hope.

As the ministry continues to grow, we are praying for a river boat that will allow us to reach even more remote communities safely and consistently.

Together, we are sharing the love of Christ through practical service by providing:
• Medical, dental, and vision care
• Food for vulnerable families
• Clothing and shoes
• Church and home repairs
• Clean water solutions
• Children’s education and discipleship
• Encouragement and biblical training for pastors and their families

To every team that has served with us: thank you. Your partnership is changing lives, and we are grateful that God has allowed us to serve together.

A Week of Faith, Service, and Lasting Impact

Our hearts are filled with gratitude for the incredible team from Kenton New Hope Church. It has been a week of blessing, joy, and purpose as we served together in the Peruvian Amazon.

Through medical outreach, children’s programs, community visits, and many acts of compassion, we had the privilege of sharing the love of Jesus Christ through service to others. Every smile, every prayer, and every helping hand reflected God’s faithfulness and His love for the people we were honored to serve.

Thank you for your servant hearts, your dedication, and your willingness to be the hands and feet of Christ. Your investment of time, love, and compassion has made a meaningful and lasting impact on many lives.

May God continue to bless each member of your team, your families, and Kenton New Hope Church. It has been an honor to serve alongside you, and we are grateful for everything you have done for the communities of the Peruvian Amazon.

🪚Amazon Healthcare Mission | Building Hope, Strengthening Communities

“Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.” Psalm 127:1

At Amazon Healthcare Mission, we believe that serving people goes beyond meeting immediate needs it is about building hope, strengthening communities, and sharing the love of Christ through practical service.

Across the Peruvian Amazon, many churches still need essential improvements such as doors, windows, pulpits, pews, and other basic infrastructure that provide safe and welcoming places for worship and community gatherings. At the same time, many vulnerable families lack simple necessities such as beds, tables, and doors for their homes.

Thanks to the tools we have recently acquired, we are now able to expand our ministry by carrying out carpentry and construction projects that will improve both church facilities and the homes of families in need. Every project is an opportunity to serve with excellence, restore dignity, and reflect God’s love through meaningful action.

This is another important step forward in our mission. While we have made significant progress, we continue working to strengthen our capacity with additional tools that will allow us to serve more churches, more families, and more communities throughout the Peruvian Amazon.

Thank you to everyone who prays, serves, and stands with us as we continue bringing hope to the Amazon-one project, one family, and one community at a time.

📜Cada Río Nos Acerca a una Nueva Misión

Cada viaje por los ríos de la Amazonía representa una nueva oportunidad para servir.

Además de llevar atención médica, alimentos y compartir el Evangelio, estos viajes nos permiten coordinar futuras actividades, visitar las comunidades y fortalecer la comunión con los pastores locales. Es una verdadera bendición trabajar unidos como el Cuerpo de Cristo, sirviendo con un mismo propósito y apoyándonos mutuamente para alcanzar a las comunidades más necesitadas.

Seguimos navegando hacia los lugares más remotos porque creemos que cada vida tiene un gran valor para Dios.

🏁Medical Outreach in the Peruvian Amazon – Iquitos Region 🛶

We are excited to share a growing vision for medical outreach in the Amazon region of Peru, based in Iquitos.

As a ministry and outreach team, we are stepping into a new season of expansion, working alongside local medical professionals, local staff, and community leaders to bring healthcare, compassion, and hope to remote Amazonian communities.

These communities are located along the Amazonas, Nanay, and Itaya rivers, as well as areas accessible by the Iquitos–Nauta highway and nearby road systems.

Our teams travel approximately 1 hour each way (river or land) to reach families who have limited or no access to basic healthcare services.

🏥 Medical Outreach Team

Each campaign will include:

* Physicians (General Medicine)
* Dentist
* Pharmacist
* Nurses
* Pastor for spiritual care
* Musician for community engagement
* Children’s program coordinator

We are committed to building this vision with local talent and local participation, ensuring sustainability and long-term impact.

❤️ Impact per Medical Campaign

Each outreach day is designed to serve approximately:

* 90 General Medicine patients
* 25 Dental patients
* 20 Vision care patients
* 40 Children in programs
* Around 175 people reached through medical care, prayer, and encouragement

Our goal is to conduct 2 medical campaigns per month, as resources allow.

🚤 Logistics & Support Needed

Each campaign requires:

* Medical support
* Medicines and supplies
* River boat or land transportation
* Meals for staff
* Temporary equipment (generator & portable dental unit rental)
* Coordination and logistics support

🌟 Debemos ser luz en medio de la oscuridad 🌟

Jesús nos llamó a ser luz para el mundo. En muchos pueblos de la Amazonía, cuando cae la noche, familias enteras quedan en completa oscuridad. Pero gracias a las lámparas solares GoodBulb Solar Light, estamos llevando algo más que iluminación: estamos llevando esperanza, seguridad y una muestra del amor de Dios.

Cada luz que llega a una comunidad permite que los niños estudien por la noche, que las familias se reúnan con seguridad y que las personas vean que no han sido olvidadas.

“Ustedes son la luz del mundo. Una ciudad situada sobre un monte no se puede ocultar.” - Mateo 5:14

A través de nuestro trabajo en la Amazonía, seguimos comprometidos a ser esa luz que transforma vidas y comparte el amor de Cristo en lugares donde más se necesita.
