MSI Asia Pacific CEO Grishma Bista arrived in Lae today as part of her visit to Papua New Guinea to engage with the Marie Stopes PNG team and gain firsthand insight into our programmes, achievements, and the impact of our work across the country.

The visit provides an important opportunity to strengthen collaboration with the global office, identify areas where additional support can further enhance service delivery, and reinforce our shared commitment to ensuring more people have access to quality sexual and reproductive healthcare.

Accompanying Ms. Bista are Marie Stopes PNG Country Director Anjelique Giranah and Projects & Partnerships Director Cathy Salayau. Together, they will visit key programme sites and engage with staff and partners in Lae before returning to Port Moresby on Thursday.

We are honoured to welcome Ms. Bista and look forward to meaningful discussions that will help shape the continued growth and impact of Marie Stopes PNG.

Marie Stopes Papua New Guinea was proud to stand alongside thousands of Papua New Guineans at the Islands Petroleum Charity Colour Run 2026, joining a nationwide movement dedicated to promoting healthier communities while raising funds to support vital healthcare services.

We commend the WAO Foundation and Islands Petroleum for creating an initiative that not only encourages healthy and active lifestyles but also invests in the wellbeing of communities through support for healthcare, education, and community development.

At Marie Stopes PNG, we believe that good health begins long before someone walks through the doors of a health facility. It starts with strong communities, informed choices, healthy lifestyles, and partnerships that place people at the centre of development. Our participation reflects our continued commitment to working alongside like-minded organizations to improve the health and wellbeing of Papua New Guineans.
