As one of the kickoff activities for its 66th Founding Anniversary, Allen District Hospital successfully conducted an Earthquake and Fire Drill on the morning of July 15, 2026, in partnership with the Allen Fire Station, led by SFO4 Renerio L. Agura, and the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) of the Local Government Unit of Allen, headed by Mr. Alberto G. Cabacang.
Hospital employees, together with selected patients and their significant others (SO), actively participated in the emergency drill. The activity began with an earthquake simulation, where participants practiced the proper "Duck, Cover, and Hold" procedure before safely evacuating to the designated assembly area. This was followed by a fire emergency simulation, highlighting proper evacuation, rescue coordination, and basic fire suppression techniques.
The Allen Fire Station and LGU Allen MDRRMO also shared practical reminders on fire safety, emergency response, and the importance of staying calm during emergencies.
The activity forms part of the hospital's continuing efforts to strengthen disaster preparedness and ensure the safety of patients, visitors, and healthcare workers.
Allen District Hospital extends its sincere appreciation to the Allen Fire Station, the LGU Allen MDRRMO, and everyone who participated in making the activity a success as the hospital celebrates 66 Years of Compassion, Excellence, and Service.
