From one last wave before LASIK 👋… to 20/20 vision! 👀✨

Meet Rael Pinpin, who trusted us with his journey toward clearer, glasses-free vision.

In Rael’s own words:

“I am so happy to have achieved 20/20 vision with absolutely no issues. The entire procedure was completely painless, and Dr. Armand and the fellow nurses at the LASIK Center in AUFMC were incredibly kind and reassuring every step of the way. The post-op consultation was easy and the entire process, from screening to surgery, was smooth.”

And those wacky photos at his Day 1 post-op check? 😜✌️
Sometimes, the smile says it all! ❤️

Our heartfelt gratitude to Rael Pinpin for your trust and confidence in Dr. Armand Contreras and our entire LASIK team. It is always a privilege to be part of someone’s journey toward clearer vision. 🙏

👁️ SORE EYES HAS NO SEASON

Viral conjunctivitis can happen any time of the year—and it spreads easily. A few simple habits can help protect you and your family.

🧼 Wash your hands often
🚫 Avoid rubbing or touching your eyes
🧺 Don’t share towels, pillows, eye drops, or makeup
👓 Avoid contact lenses while your eyes are infected
💧 Don’t self-medicate, especially with antibiotic or steroid eye drops

⚠️ See an eye doctor if you experience eye pain, light sensitivity, blurred or decreased vision, severe redness or swelling, or symptoms that persist or worsen.

Not every red eye is just “sore eyes.” Proper diagnosis matters. 👁️

🌧️ FLOODWATER SAFETY: Protect Yourself from Leptospirosis

Floodwaters may look harmless, but they can carry germs that can make you seriously sick.

👢 Wear waterproof boots
🩹 Cover cuts and wounds
🧼 Wash with soap and clean water after exposure
🚫 Avoid wading whenever possible

💊 For LOW-RISK exposure — a single floodwater exposure with NO cuts or wounds — doxycycline prophylaxis may be considered. Consult a doctor before taking antibiotics.

⚠️ Watch for fever, calf/muscle pain, red eyes, vomiting, or jaundice. If symptoms develop after flood exposure, seek medical care immediately.

BEST PROTECTION: If you don’t need to enter floodwater, DON’T.

Stay safe and take care of yourself and your loved ones. 💙

Glaucoma is a silent threat to your vision. Early screening matters.

03/08/2026

The answer isn’t simply glasses or contact lenses.

For suitable candidates, LASIK offers another option—the freedom to enjoy clear vision with less dependence on corrective lenses.

The right choice is always based on a comprehensive eye evaluation.

Malinaw na paalala: Alagaan ang iyong paningin. 👀

Not all laser vision correction procedures are the same—and neither are their benefits. 👀

If you're concerned about temporary dry eyes after laser vision correction, SmartSight™ may be the right option for you. With its minimally invasive approach, SmartSight is designed to help reduce the risk of temporary dry eyes while giving you the freedom to enjoy clear vision without relying on glasses or contact lenses.
