Sarah and John ( not their real names) were 30 and 60 years old and have been married for a year when they first came to our clinic in March 2026.
John’s semen analysis showed asthenoteratos***mia ( normal count but low motility and morphology ) with prolonged liquifaction time ( very thick and viscous). He is also diabetic and on maintenance medications.
Sarah immediately underwent sonohysterography to check for patency of fallopian tubes and by April we performed IUI. And amazingly, they conceived on their very first try! Praise God! Sarah was endorsed to her OB of choice last month.
What can we learn from this?
Male age, diabetes and abnormal semen analysis do not mean that pregnancy is impossible ❤️
Because Sarah is young, with good egg quality, and by seeking help early, we were able to take advantage of this window of opportunity! To God be all the Glory !
