Fungal Skin Infections: Common Pero Buni, An-an, o Alipunga Man, May Gamot Diyan! 🩺🌿

Dahil sa mainit at maalinsangang panahon sa Pilipinas, napakadalas magkaroon ng fungal skin infections. Pero huwag mag-alala—ito ay karaniwan at kayang-kayang gamutin!

Alin dito ang pamilyar sa 'yo?
-Buni (Ringworm): Pulang pantal na hugis bilog at may bilog na magaspang na gilid.

-An-an (Tinea Versicolor): Maputi, kayumanggi, o kulay-rosas na berchen sa balat na karaniwang lumalabas kapag pinawisan.

-Alipunga (Athlete’s Foot): Pangangati at pagbabalat sa pagitan ng mga daliri sa paa.

⚠️ Public Health Warning mula sa PDS Central Luzon: Iwasang mag-maling gamot o mag-pahid ng anumang over-the-counter steroid cream nang walang payo ng doktor! Ang steroid creams ay pwedeng magpalala sa halip na gumaling ang fungal infection.

✨ Protektahan ang iyong balat. Kumunsulta sa isang PDS Board-Certified Dermatologist para sa tamang reseta at diagnosis!

Not every bump on the face is acne. 🤍

Some small skin lesions may need to be assessed and removed by a dermatologist. In this case, Doc carefully removes the visible lesions using a dermatologic procedure. Electrosurgical techniques can be used for certain superficial skin lesions, depending on the diagnosis.

So if you have bumps, lesions, or anything unusual on your skin, don’t try to remove them on your own. Have them checked first.
