I am truly honored to receive the Rising Star โ€“ Rookie of the Year award.

Thank you to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Medical Center for recognizing my efforts. This achievement would not have been possible without the support and trust of my fellow Carmelian doctors, the dedicated hospital staff, and, most importantly, my patients.

When I started my practice here in Pampanga, I initially felt lost as I adjusted to a new environment after training at PGH. However, I soon realized that this institution and its people embody the very same core values that were instilled in me during my training: โ€œMagaling, Mabait, at May Malasakit sa Kapwa.โ€

Receiving this recognition inspires me to continue serving with excellence, compassion, and integrity. Thank you for believing in me. I look forward to many more years of caring for our patients and growing together with the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Medical Center family.

Grateful to have presented our research, โ€œUpstaging of Ductal Carcinoma In Situ on Biopsy: A Retrospective Analysis from Core Needle Biopsy to Definitive Histopathology,โ€ at the 10th Annual Convention of the Surgical Oncology Society of the Philippines.

Medicine is a lifelong journey of learning. Every patient we meet, every research project we complete, and every conference we attend teaches us something new. Iโ€™m thankful for opportunities like these that allow us to share ideas, learn from one another, and bring those lessons back to our patients.

At the end of the day, research isnโ€™t just about publications or presentationsโ€”itโ€™s about finding better ways to care for the people who trust us with their health.
