⌚️The only time I create a sharp, barber edge-up hairline is when it suits the client’s ethnicity, cultural preference, and personal style. For many Black American clients, this has been part of their grooming culture for years, so it looks natural and authentic on them.

For most Filipino clients, however, I generally don’t recommend this type of hairline, as a softer, more natural design tends to complement their facial features and age much better.

A little late posting this transformation, but it’s definitely one worth sharing! 🇺🇸This client flew all the way from California, with getting his SMP done as one of the main goals of his trip to the Philippines while spending time with family. Seeing how ecstatic he was with the results made the entire experience even more rewarding.

🇫🇷 ✈️Client flew in from France for a full SMP repair.

He had over 10 SMP sessions from his PREVIOUS French artist. Multiple laser removals. Still a mess.

That’s what happens when technique and training aren’t there.

The previous work had:
✖️ Harsh, unnatural results
✖️ No transition to the nape
✖️ Ignored FUE scars
✖️ Incomplete detailing (no sideburn structure)
