If you or your child has been bitten, scratched, or exposed to an animal, here’s what you can do right away:

🧼 Wash the wound thoroughly with soap and running water for about 15 minutes.
🧴 Apply an appropriate antiseptic to the affected area.
👩‍⚕️ Have the wound assessed by a healthcare professional as soon as possible so the appropriate anti-rabies management can be determined.
