HIRING: BIOMEDICAL LABORATORY ENGINEER
Megaion Corporation is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Biomedical Laboratory Engineer to join our growing Technical Services Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and technical support of laboratory and diagnostic equipment used in hospitals, clinics, laboratories, and healthcare facilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Install, configure, and commission laboratory and diagnostic equipment.
* Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, validation, and repair of laboratory analyzers and related systems.
* Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely corrective actions to minimize equipment downtime.
* Conduct performance and safety checks to ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and regulatory requirements.
* Provide technical support and consultation to laboratory personnel and healthcare professionals.
* Maintain accurate service reports, maintenance records, and equipment histories.
* Train end-users on the proper operation, care, and basic troubleshooting of laboratory equipment.
* Coordinate with manufacturers, suppliers, and internal teams regarding technical concerns, spare parts, and warranty services.
* Prepare technical documentation, reports, and recommendations for equipment upgrades or replacement.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Medical Technology, or a related field.
* A Professional License (PRC) is an advantage but not required.
* Experience in servicing, maintaining, or supporting laboratory and diagnostic equipment is preferred.
* Knowledge of clinical laboratory instruments such as chemistry analyzers, hematology analyzers, immunology analyzers, coagulation analyzers, and other diagnostic systems is an advantage.
* Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Willing to travel for field assignments and customer support activities.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
