The Department of Internal Medicine of Riverside Medical Center was the first in the province of Negros to be accredited by the Philippine College of Physicians (PCP) for its three year Residency Training Program last January 1, 1974.

Torre Memorial Hospital department of Internal Medicine in collaboration with the Philippine Society of Microbiology and Infectious Diseases and Philippine College of Chest Physicians Negros Occidental Chapter conducted a local community TB screening today at Barangay Villamonte, Bacolod city with the help of the Barangay Health workers and Barangay Villamonte.

The program included a lay forum on Tuberculosis, free chest X-rays in collaboration with Healberg medical services and free consultations with our Doctors.
