Last July 23, 2026, the Riverside Medical Center Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology officially celebrated its 50th Golden Anniversary, marking a half-century of welcoming new life into the world.
The day-long celebration, held in the RCOE Lobby and the 7th Floor Multi-Purpose Hall, gave our doctors a beautiful opportunity to reflect on a proud history while looking ahead to the future of specialized women's care.
The festivities kicked off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by the Department's leaders, alongside members of the Riverside Medical Center’s MANCOM. Together, they unveiled a curated historical photo exhibit that serves as the heart of the celebration.
More than just a collection of old photographs, the exhibit tells the story of how healthcare has evolved over the decades. It captures fifty years of technological advancements, milestones in medical education, and the familiar, reassuring faces of the doctors who built the department from the ground up. This joint opening highlighted the close partnership between the hospital’s frontline medical staff and executive leadership - a team entirely focused on continuously elevating patient care.
As the Riverside Medical Center continues to expand its clinical capabilities and adopt new medical technologies, this 50th Golden Anniversary serves as a gentle reminder of what truly makes healthcare work.
