A new space for recovery, healing, and renewed independence. 💚

On August 7, 2026, The Doctors’ Hospital, Inc. officially marked the blessing and opening of its Physical Rehabilitation Medicine Section at the TDHI Annex Building.

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Leroy J. Tad-y, Chairman of the Board; Mr. Noel T. Antenor Cruz, President; Ms. Patricia Marie G. Yusay, Administrative Director; Atty. Jhihann Hairun-Natividad, Regional Head – MGHI VisMin Cluster; Dr. Jose T. Pandan, Chief of Clinics; Ms. Lourdes M. Escalo, Finance Manager; Ms. Emily D. Yulo, Human Resource Manager; Ms. Mary Joy G. Abanilla, Chief Nurse; and Dr. Elmor G. Gicaro III, Ancillary Division Head, together with the hospital's Physical Rehabilitation Medicine specialists—Dr. Filipinas Ganchoon, Dr. Manuel Gayoles Jr., and Dr. Janina Mariz Alejano—as well as employees and invited guests.

Guests were given a tour of the facility and introduced to rehabilitation technologies designed to support patients recovering from stroke, spinal cord injuries, orthopedic conditions, and other mobility-related concerns.

The new section offers rehabilitation medicine consultations, physical therapy, stroke and orthopedic rehabilitation, pediatric and geriatric rehabilitation, post-operative rehabilitation, pain management, and functional restoration services, all aimed at helping patients regain strength, mobility, and confidence in their daily lives.

Because every step forward, no matter how small, is a step worth celebrating.

A milestone in advancing patient care.

The Doctors’ Hospital, Inc. successfully performed its first Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) procedure for a distal common bile duct (CBD) stone.

Led by Dr. Jhebe Imperial and team, this achievement marks an important step forward in TDHI’s growing range of advanced diagnostic and therapeutic services, expanding the hospital’s capability to provide specialized procedures closer to home.

Aurora Celestia: A New Beginning Guided by Stars ✨
On July 31, 2026, The Doctors’ Hospital, Inc. celebrated the graduation of its Postgraduate Interns Batch 2025–2026 at Citadines, Bacolod City.
Seventeen young physicians marked the completion of an important chapter in their medical journey, carrying with them the lessons, experiences, and values gained through their training at TDHI.

The ceremony also recognized the top-performing PGIs for their outstanding achievements in their respective clinical departments, as well as the hospital departments and resident physicians whose dedication to teaching and mentorship helped shape the next generation of healthcare professionals.

As our graduates move forward toward new horizons, may they continue to be guided by purpose, compassion, and a commitment to serve.

In celebration of the 52nd Nutrition Month, TDHI brought this year’s theme, “Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan!” to life through fun and interactive activities that encouraged healthier food choices while caring for our environment.
Because caring for our health also means caring for the world we live in. 💚

In celebration of National Breastfeeding Month, The Doctors’ Hospital, Inc. joined UKOB, the annual breastfeeding advocacy program of the Philippine Pediatric Society Negros Occidental Chapter.

Through health education, conversations with healthcare professionals, and stories shared by breastfeeding mothers, the activity created a space to learn, connect, and encourage families throughout their breastfeeding journey.

TDHI is grateful to be part of an initiative that supports informed choices and a strong start for mothers and their little ones. 💚
