My Two Rainbows 🌈 | A Story of Loss, Faith, and Hope
I had two miscarriages—one in 2024 and another in 2025.
As an OB-GYN, I have always been blessed to be an instrument of God in helping women bring their babies into this world. I have witnessed countless journeys—years of trying and waiting, pregnancies filled with fear and uncertainty, and heartbreaking losses that almost made some mothers lose hope.
I have seen their storms before the rainbow.
But when I had miscarriage—not once, but twice—I realized that there is this kind of pain you can only truly understand.
So whenever I tell a mother who lost her tiny baby, “I know how you feel. I understand. It’s okay to cry. It’s okay to grieve. Hold on to your faith. Pray. Believe in God’s perfect timing.” - I mean it.
Really, I mean it.
It hits me harder than anyonelse would ever know.
I am not saying those words simply because I am an OB-GYN, but because I was a mother too—who lost not just one, but two precious lives of my own.
And then I have also witnessed the other side of the story.
I have seen mothers come back to me with their rainbows—the prayers that have been answered, the pregnancies they hoped for, and finally, the beautiful moment when they carried their healthy babies in their arms.
And I am blessed that, I witnessed their journey—from trying to conceive, to the long-awaited positive pregnancy test, to the anxious days of pregnancy, to every little milestone, and finally, to the moment they held their babies.
Their stories remind me that there is always a rainbow after the rain. 🌈
God may allow us to walk through storms we never thought we could survive, but sometimes He uses those very storms to turn us into a living testimony.
Now I understand that God allowed me to experience this trial so that I could comfort others not only with medical knowledge, but with a heart that truly understands.
To every mother grieving for their little one: your baby mattered. Your grief is valid. Your tears are okay.
And to those who are still waiting, like me -
Hold on to your faith. Keep praying. Keep believing. Because God has His own perfect timing.
“He has made everything beautiful in His time.” — Ecclesiastes 3:11
❤️And as we remember the Rainbow Baby Awareness Week, may I invite every mother who has a story to tell:
Share your story. 🌈
Share the storm you have survived.
Share the little one you have lost.
And if you already have your rainbow, share that story too. 😊🤗😍
Because somewhere out there is a mother who is still in the middle of her storm, wondering if her rainbow will ever come.
Your story might be the light she needs to keep believing!
I have been privileged to witness so many of these stories—not just as an OB-GYN, but as someone who now understands the pain of losing from the heart of a mother.
And to every mother whose story I have been blessed to witness:
Thank you for allowing me to be part of your journey.🥰😍🙏🤩
From your tears, to your prayers, to your waiting, and finally, to the moment you held your rainbow in your arms—I will always be grateful that I got to witness your miracle!🌈🤍 Thank you so much for you trust! 🙏🥹❤️
There is always a rainbow after the rain.
And sometimes, we become someone else's rainbow simply by sharing the story of how we survived the storm. 🌈
TO GOD BE ALL THE GLORY! ☝️🙏🙌
