Partners in Care: BGHMC Leads Vital ACLS Training for SLU-SHMC Medical Team

Twenty-four medical professionals, mostly frontline nursing personnel, successfully completed an intensive Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) training program held on August 6 and 7, 2026. This vital educational initiative was spearheaded by Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC) in partnership with Saint Louis University Sacred Heart Medical Center (SLU-SHMC) for the latter's medical team. Over the two-day course, participants mastered updated clinical guidelines and engaged in hands-on simulation drills designed to optimize rapid-response skills during critical cardiac emergencies. By elevating the competencies of these frontline responders, this partnership successfully strengthens the life-saving capabilities and medical readiness of healthcare teams across Baguio City.
