ADVANCING CLINICAL EXCELLENCE | SIMULATION PROGRAM IN NEONATAL & PEDIATRIC CARE
At Centro Medico de Santisimo Rosario (CMSR), we believe that excellence in patient care is built through continuous learning, deliberate practice, and a commitment to professional growth.
On July 30, 2026, CMSR conducted its Simulation Program: Clinical Skills in Neonatal and Pediatric Care, a focused hands-on learning experience designed to strengthen the clinical knowledge, technical skills, and confidence of our healthcare team in caring for newborns and pediatric patients.
The program covered essential competencies in:
Essential Newborn Care, Assessment & Procedures
Pediatric Clinical Assessment
Pediatric Nursing Procedures & Equipment Operation
The session was facilitated by Ms. Michele Albarda, RN, Head Nurse โ NICU/PICU, and Ms. Marizen Vallester, RN, Senior Nurse โ NICU/PICU, who guided participants through practical scenarios and skills-based exercises aimed at enhancing clinical preparedness and patient safety.
Through simulation-based learning, CMSR continues to foster a culture of competence, confidence, collaboration, and compassionate careโensuring that our healthcare professionals are prepared to respond effectively to the unique needs of every newborn and child.
Because when it comes to caring for our youngest patients, every skill matters. Every decision matters. Every moment matters.
