Ang kaalaman ay unang hakbang tungo sa maagap na pagkilala, tamang pangangalaga, at suporta.Bawat kaalaman, maaaring maging pag-asa. Sama-sama tayong maging !

THRIVING, NOT JUST SURVIVING: Caring for the Teachers Who Transform Lives. 💙📚

As part of the National Teachers Month 2026 celebration, Ms. Judy Ann S. Julio, HEPO II of Aurora Memorial Hospital, served as a resource speaker during the DepEd online activity held on September 10, 2026, where she discussed “Thriving, Not Just Surviving: Holistic Well-being for Transformational Teachers.”

The activity also strengthened the growing partnership between the AMH Public Health Unit and the Department of Education in promoting health awareness and supporting the holistic well-being of teachers and students.

The session focused on stress management, work-life balance, and mental health awareness, which empowered teachers to build resilience while navigating personal and professional challenges. It emphasized that caring for educators was also an investment in quality and sustainable education.

“A transformational teacher does not only transform learners. A transformational teacher also knows how to sustain the person doing the transforming.” 🌱

Today, supervisors and representatives from different hospital sections and units came together in a meaningful Patient Safety activity - uniting in one commitment to promote patient safety and strengthen a culture where safety always comes first.

𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐆𝐔𝐄 𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄 | 𝐋𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐰𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐧 𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐫𝐚 𝐀𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 12, 2026

🦟 Nakapagtala ang iba't ibang Disease Reporting Units sa Aurora ng 106 na bagong kaso ng dengue, kaya umabot na sa 2172 ang kabuuang bilang ng mga kaso.

📈 Mas mataas ito ng 137% kumpara sa kaparehong panahon noong 2025 (915 kaso).

Sa kabuuan, pito (7) na pagkamatay na may kaugnayan sa dengue ang naitala (Case Fatality Rate: 2.2%).

👶👵 Ang mga nagkaroon ng dengue ay may edad mula 1 buwang gulang hanggang 104 taong gulang (median na edad: 12 taon). Sa kabuuang bilang ng mga kaso:
• 917 (42%) ay nasa edad 1–10 taong gulang.
• 1094 (50%) ay mga kalalakihan.

📍 Ang Maria Aurora ang may pinakamaraming naitalang kaso na 463 (21%), habang ang Dilasag naman ang may pinakamataas na attack rate na 23.2 kaso bawat 1,000 populasyon.

Patuloy na nagpapaalala ang Provincial Government of Aurora, sa pamamagitan ng Provincial Health Office, na sama-sama nating isabuhay ang 4S Kontra Dengue upang maprotektahan ang ating pamilya at komunidad laban sa dengue.

✅ 𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐲 – Hanapin at alisin ang mga pinamumugaran ng lamok.
✅ 𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐟-𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬 – Gumamit ng mga pananggalang tulad ng kulambo, insect repellent, at magsuot ng damit na may mahabang manggas.
✅ 𝐒𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 – Agad na magpakonsulta sa pinakamalapit na health facility kapag may sintomas ng dengue.
✅ 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐅𝐨𝐠𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 – Makiisa sa fogging o spraying sa mga lugar na may dengue outbreak kung ito ay inirerekomenda ng mga health authorities.
✅ 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐇𝐲𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 - Panatilihing hydrated ang katawan sa pamamagitan ng regular na pag-inom ng sapat na tubig, lalo na kapag mainit ang panahon o aktibo sa gawain.

💚 Ang pag-iwas sa dengue ay responsibilidad ng bawat isa. Kumilos ngayon, linisin ang paligid, at sama-sama nating sugpuin ang dengue!

ALZHEIMER’S: Kilalanin, Unawain, Alagaan!

Ngayong 𝗔𝗹𝘇𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗿’𝘀 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸, sama-sama nating palawakin ang kaalaman tungkol sa Alzheimer’s Disease. Mas karaniwan ito sa mga nakatatanda, at may mga salik na maaaring magpataas ng panganib tulad ng family history, high blood pressure, obesity, diabetes, at iba pa.

Ang pag-unawa ay unang hakbang sa pag-aalaga. Kung ikaw o ang iyong mahal sa buhay ay nakararanas ng mga sintomas, huwag mag-atubiling humingi ng tulong sa pinakamalapit na health center o Mental Health Access Site.

Maagang pagkilala. Tamang gabay. Mas maalagang buhay.

CHANGING THE NARRATIVE: Start the Conversation

In observance of 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗦𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘆 – September 10, Mr. Ace Joseph Alacaide, Psychometrician of the AMH Mental Health Clinic, conducted a short health education session for patients at the AMH OPD hallway on September 11.

A simple conversation can create a safe space for someone who may be struggling. Let’s change the narrative on suicide—talk about it openly, listen without judgment, and connect those in need to professional help.

Su***de can be prevented. Starting the conversation can be the first step toward hope. ☘️
