Behind every headline is a story. Some stories speak of disappointment, and they deserve to be heard. But there are also thousands of stories that never become viral... mothers who went home safely, patients who recovered after surgery, families who received care they could not otherwise afford.

Public healthcare is not perfect. There are limitations, challenges, and lessons we continue to learn every day. But there are also doctors, nurses, and healthcare workers who show up despite exhaustion, long hours, and difficult circumstances because lives depend on them.
Criticism helps us improve. Accountability keeps us grounded. But fairness allows us to see the whole picture.
This is not a defense of mistakes. It is a reminder that behind every public hospital are people who continue to serve, heal, and care.. one patient at a time.
