The team actively delivered first aid assistance, ensured safety, maintained order, and supported proper coordination throughout the event, helping make the activity safe and successful.

𝐂𝐓𝐔-𝐁 𝐃𝐑𝐑𝐌𝐎 𝐀.𝐂.𝐓 | March 30, 2026

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞: In line with the celebration of Women’s Month, Cebu Technological University – Barili Campus successfully conducted a Campus-Wide Fire Safety Seminar and Emergency Evacuation Drill.

The activity aimed to strengthen disaster preparedness, promote safety awareness, and empower the university community in responding effectively to emergency situations.

This initiative was carried out through the collaboration of the CTU-Barili DRRMO A.C.T., CTU-Barili Campus ROTC Unit, and the Student Agriculturist Association of Cebu, in coordination with MDRRMO Barili and the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).

Students, faculty, and staff actively participated in the simulation exercises, demonstrating coordination, discipline, and readiness during emergencies.

This effort highlights the university’s commitment to fostering a culture of resilience and safety while recognizing the vital role of empowered individuals in disaster risk reduction and management.

𝐂𝐓𝐔-𝐁 𝐃𝐑𝐑𝐌𝐎 𝐀.𝐂.𝐓 | Fourth Regular Meeting

The CTU-Barili DRRMO A.C.T. conducted its Fourth Regular Meeting today, March 4, 2026. The agenda included preparations for the upcoming activities this March in relation to Fire Prevention Month, a refresher course, and other relevant matters.

The meeting emphasized the importance of teamwork, clear communication, and shared responsibility among members. It also reinforced the organization’s commitment to maintaining a high level of preparedness, efficiency, and responsiveness in fulfilling its duties and supporting major campus events.
