THREE HEARTS. ONE PURPOSE. ONE CAUSE.
We were not called simply to exist. We were called to serve.
And for 32 years, Pioneer Clinical Laboratory & Medical Clinic, Inc. has sought to do exactly that, with humble hearts, faithful hands, and a purpose anchored in God Almighty.
Established on September 8, 1994, on Mama Mary’s day, Pioneer Clinical Laboratory & Medical Clinic , Inc . began with a humble desire to serve the community through healthcare. Thirty-two years later, that purpose continues: not simply as a legacy, but as a commitment to care, to give back, and to extend service where it is needed most.
Pioneer Lab was not made overnight.
It was built through Compassion, Innovation, Excellence, and Trust- the stronghold of its commitment to quality service.
Integrity is trust earned, character proven, and a promise faithfully kept through the years.
At the heart of this journey remains a simple philosophy:
WE DON’T JUST EXAMINE , WE CARE.
For Pioneer Lab, Malasakit is more than an advocacy. It is a way of serving: the willingness to go beyond what is expected, to see the person behind the result, and to extend help with genuine compassion.
Then came Solana Heirloom Café with its heart for arts and helping the community open its space for an exhibit : a place created not only to serve coffee and heirloom treats, but to create warmth, connection, and a little sunshine in every cup. Healing in Hues was conceptualized .
Moreso, because blessings are meant to be shared, Solana Cafe’ carries its own expression of Malasakit:
The Malasakit Cup Advocacy: ₱5 from every cup goes to charity.
A simple cup becomes a simple act of giving.
A little kindness.
A little hope.
Then, on September 8, 2025, on the same meaningful date that marked Pioneer Lab’s beginning, another advocacy touched the hearts of many .
We were blessed to collaborate with an extraordinary visual artist, Dr. Gina Flores Molina, whose passion and God-given gift for art became an opportunity to share something meaningful with others.
And from that shared vision, Healing in Hues - Art Exhibit for a Cause was born.
Three different worlds came together.
Pioneer Lab brought its legacy of healthcare and Malasakit.
Solana Heirloom Café opened its space for art and the community , brought its warmth, coffee, heirloom flavors, and commitment to give back.
Healing in Hues brought the beauty and healing language of art.
Different gifts. Different expressions.
One purpose: to serve, to share, to give back, and to bring healing and hope to our community.
Now, as Healing in Hues celebrates its first year, we look back with humble and grateful hearts.
Because this collaboration reminds us that caring can take many beautiful forms- in a healthcare service, in a cup of coffee, in a piece of art, in a helping hand, and in people coming together for a cause greater than themselves.
And so, the journey continues:
32 years of Pioneer Clinical Laboratory & Medical Clinic, Inc.
One year of Healing in Hues.
A continuing story of Malasakit- ₱5 from every cup , donated to charity .
Three hearts, united by one purpose: to serve with compassion, to give with generosity, and to make a difference wherever we can.
With gratitude for every gift, every opportunity, and every grace entrusted to us by God Almighty, we continue to serve- not simply to be remembered, but to be of service.
To God be all the glory!🙏🙏🙏
WHEN ART BECOMES A WAY TO CARE: HUES OF HOPE
What happens when art becomes more than something to look at?
It becomes a way to reach people, to tell stories, and to give something back.
Through Healing in Hues, art found a deeper purpose—one rooted in compassion, generosity, and the belief that beauty can also be a form of service. What began as a collaboration between Pioneer Clinical Laboratory & Medical Clinic, Inc. and visual artist Dr. Gina Flores Molina became an opportunity to bring together creativity and malasakit in a meaningful way.
Here, every color carries a story. Every artwork becomes part of a larger conversation about hope, healing, and community.
For Dr. Gina Flores Molina, whose God-given gift for art helped shape the exhibit, the canvas became more than a space for expression. It became a bridge—connecting her passion for art with a cause that reaches beyond the gallery.
That spirit of giving has long been part of Pioneer Lab’s story. According to Bhabes Comia-Espina, whose recollection helped trace the institution’s history, Pioneer Lab began in 1994 with a humble desire to serve the community through healthcare. Decades later, that same spirit continues to find new expressions.
One of them is Healing in Hues.
Now celebrating its first year, the exhibit reminds us that caring does not always look the same. Sometimes it arrives through healthcare. Sometimes through a warm cup of coffee. And sometimes, it comes quietly through a painting that makes someone pause, feel, remember, or hope.
Perhaps that is where art becomes most powerful—not when it simply fills a wall, but when it touches a life.
Art becomes a way to care.
Colors become a language of hope.
