On August 8, 2025, in celebration of National Lung Month, representatives from the Batangas Medical Center Anti-Smoking Committee, led by Dr. Evarose Lapitan, attended the Basic To***co Treatment and Skills Training at the Lung Center of the Philippines.
The training was attended by various medical professionals and partner institutions to enhance knowledge and practical skills in to***co cessation. The program emphasized the significance of evidence-based approaches in addressing to***co dependence, equipping healthcare providers with strategies to support patients in quitting smoking. Through lectures, interactive discussions, and skill-building activities, participants gained a comprehensive understanding of effective counseling techniques and treatment interventions for smoking and va**ng.
