Camillus Hospitals Move United Forward with Metro Pacific Health
BATANGAS CITY, September 4, 2026 - A new and exciting chapter in healthcare began as the Camillus Hospitals family officially welcomed Metro Pacific Health (MPH), the country’s largest hospital network, ushering in greater opportunities to bring world-class healthcare closer to more communities in Batangas.
On Friday, First United 23, Inc., founder of the United Doctors of St. Camillus de Lellis Hospital and Medical Center and United Doctors of St. Camillus Mabini General Hospital, formally turned over the management of the two institutions to Metro Pacific Health.
The milestone brings together two strong healthcare legacies, the pioneering spirit and years of service of the Camillus founders, and the expertise, resources, and healthcare network of Metro Pacific Health.
Leading the MPH delegation were President and Vice Chairman Augusto Palisoc, Jr.; Group CEO Dr. Harish Pillai; Board Director Alvin John Merced; and President and CEO Maria Louzel Diaz-Tiozon.
MPH also paid tribute to the visionaries who built the Camillus Hospitals into trusted healthcare institutions in the community, led by Dr. Ariel Atienza, Chief Medical Officer of the medical center, and Dr. Mar Moldez, Chief Medical Officer of the Mabini hospital.
The transition was marked by a town hall attended by Camillus employees and physicians, creating an opportunity for the healthcare team to come together, look toward the future, and reaffirm one shared commitment.
The celebration also saw the launch of the hospitals’ new campaign: Alagang Tunay. Serbisyong Mahusay. The occasion also unveiled the refreshed identity of Camillus de Lellis Medical Center (CLMC) and Camillus de Lellis Mabini Hospital (CLMH).
