Another successful day of learning, skills enhancement, and commitment to saving lives! 🚑🫀

The AHA ACLS Training & Updates was successfully conducted last August 27, 2026, at Nagtalon Hall, with 32 healthcare professionals in attendance:
👩‍⚕️ 2 Emergency Room Nurses from Aglipay District Hospital
👨‍⚕️ 1 Physician from San Mariano Community Hospital
👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️ 29 Nurses from different wards of Region II Trauma and Medical Center

The ACLS Provider Training Course was successfully conducted on July 31, 2026, at Nagtalon Hall, Region II Trauma and Medical Center (R2TMC), facilitated by our AHA Certified ACLS Instructors.

The training was attended by 4 nurses and 3 physicians from R2TMC, 7 nurses and the Chief of Hospital from Barlig District Hospital, and 3 personnel from the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO). Together, they strengthened their knowledge and skills in delivering timely, evidence-based advanced cardiovascular life support.

On July 30, 2026, the American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS Provider Training Course was successfully conducted at Nagtalon Hall, Region II Trauma and Medical Center, led by our dedicated AHA Certified Instructors.

The training was attended by 4 physicians from the Departments of Internal Medicine, Surgery, and the Hemodialysis Unit, together with 30 nurses from various wards and units of the hospital. Through lectures, hands-on skills stations, simulation-based scenarios, and written assessments, participants strengthened their knowledge and skills in recognizing and managing adult cardiovascular emergencies using evidence-based Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) guidelines.

In celebration of National CPR Day, a Hands-Only CPR Training was successfully conducted on July 17, 2026, at Bravo Convention Hall, Busilac, Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya, where 100 employees of TAM-AN BMPC learned the lifesaving skill of Hands-Only CPR.

The activity was spearheaded by Dr. Aleano Dayag, Dr. Shiena Vargas, Mr. Ericson C. Basilio, Ms. Jamie Kris Ablang, and Ms. Cristina Gurat.

The celebration continued at the Region II Trauma and Medical Center OPD Grounds, where the team brought Hands-Only CPR awareness and training to the community.

The activity attracted enthusiastic participation from the public, with eligible participants practicing this lifesaving skill and gaining a better understanding of the importance of immediate CPR during cardiac emergencies.

Every heartbeat counts. Every second matters. Together, let us build a community that is prepared to respond and help save lives through early CPR.
