The 𝗡𝗩𝗦𝗨 𝗥𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 (𝗡𝗩𝗦𝗨-𝗥𝗖𝗬𝗖) successfully conducted its 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 (𝗬𝗩𝗙𝗖) on August 21–23, 2026, at the NVSU Bayombong Campus.

The three-day training brought together aspiring and current youth volunteers for meaningful sessions, team-building activities, and discussions that strengthened their understanding of the Red Cross, volunteerism, discipline, and humanitarian service.

Through the guidance and dedication of Youth Instructors 𝗝𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗼 𝗙. 𝗔𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗼𝗱𝗮𝗻,𝗥𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗼 𝗢. 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗲𝗹, 𝗝𝗲𝘇𝘁𝗶𝗻 𝗗. 𝗠𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗼, 𝗬𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗕. 𝗢𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘆, 𝗗𝗼𝗻 𝗝𝗲𝘆 𝗦𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗮, and 𝗝𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗼 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗟. 𝗪𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗻𝗴, the participants gained valuable knowledge and experiences that will help them become more confident, responsible, and prepared volunteers.

The council also extends its sincere appreciation to its advisers, Joel Gumangan Degamo and Gail Galamay Gumilet, for their continued guidance, support, and commitment to the development of NVSU youth volunteers.

Likewise, the NVSU-RCYC expresses its gratitude to 𝗘𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗨. 𝗟𝗮𝘀𝗾𝘂𝗲𝗿𝗼, OIC Chapter Administrator of the Philippine Red Cross–Nueva Vizcaya Chapter and the 𝗡𝘂𝗲𝘃𝗮 𝗩𝗶𝘇𝗰𝗮𝘆𝗮 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗔𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 for their valuable support and guidance in strengthening the council’s humanitarian initiatives and volunteer formation.

More than a training, the YVFC became a space where young people learned to lead, worked together, and strengthened their commitment to serving others. As they take their next steps as youth volunteers, may they continue to carry the spirit of humanitarianism wherever they go.

The Nueva Vizcaya State University–Red Cross Youth Council (NVSU-RCYC) Officers proudly participated in the public presentation of the University’s major accomplishments under the theme “Weaving Today the FIBERS of NVSU Tomorrow” held yesterday, August 24, at the NVSU Gymnasium.

The active participation of NVSU-RCYC officers in this significant university event reflects their commitment to being engaged student leaders and advocates of the Red Cross humanitarian spirit—always ready to serve, respond, and contribute to the welfare of the university community.

As Red Cross Youth volunteers, their presence goes beyond participation. It embodies the values of humanity, voluntary service, and solidarity, reminding us that meaningful change begins when young people choose to show up, lend a hand, and serve others.

During the presentation, NVSU President Wilfredo A. Dumale, Jr. highlighted the University’s progress from September 2022 to the present, including advancements in program compliance, accreditation, licensure performance, graduate employability, international employment, and quality management. ❤️⛑️

The NVSU Red Cross Youth Council (NVSU-RCYC) gathered yesterday for a meaningful day of learning, unity, and new beginnings as aspiring members and new volunteers took part in the 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝘆, 𝗢𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆.

The activity gave the aspiring members and new volunteers an opportunity to learn more about the NVSU-RCY, understand their roles and responsibilities, and officially become part of the organization. It also marked the formal passing of responsibilities as the organization welcomed another chapter of service.

The NVSU-RCY was also honored by the presence of its special guests, Ma’am Maria Nonette Tiam, Board of Directors Chairperson of the Philippine Red Cross – Nueva Vizcaya Chapter, who shared her inspiring Message, and Ma’am Eunich U. Lasquero, OIC–Chapter Administrator of PRC Nueva Vizcaya, who delivered her meaningful Word of Challenge to the volunteers.

For five wonderful days, our booth became a place of fun, learning, and meaningful connections. From first-time participants to returning challengers, your enthusiasm made every moment worthwhile. Every arrow released reflected not only skill and determination but also the spirit of volunteerism and service that the Red Cross Youth Council stands for.

With this, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who visited, participated, and supported our booth throughout Kalyefest 2026. Your presence and enthusiasm inspired us to make this activity a success.

As we close this chapter, we hope to receive the same overwhelming support whenever we are given another opportunity to conduct activities like this in the future. Until then, let us continue to uphold the values of humanity, service, and compassion wherever we go.
