Madalas, hindi nila sinasabi kapag nakalmot o nakagat ng a*o o pusa — lalo na kung maliit lang ang sugat.
Pero kahit maliit na kagat o kalmot, pwedeng magdala ng rabies.

⏳ Every second counts after a bite, scratch, or lick on an open wound from an animal.
Here’s what you should do right away:

1️⃣ Wash the wound — Use running water and soap for at least 15 minutes.
2️⃣ Don’t put vinegar, toothpaste, or herbal oils — they do not kill the rabies virus.
3️⃣ Go to a trusted bite center immediately — wag nang maghintay pa!

⚠️ Even if the animal looks healthy or is your own pet, rabies can still be present.
There’s no cure once symptoms show — prevention is the only protection.
