Speech Therapy and Occupational Therapy are different but they often work best together.
Many parents ask us,
"Why does my child need both?"
The answer is simple.
Speech Therapy helps children communicate, understand language, and express themselves.
Occupational Therapy helps children regulate their bodies, participate in activities, build independence, and develop the foundational skills needed for learning.
When appropriate, these therapies complement one another to support a child's overall development.
💚 Not every child requires both therapies. Recommendations are always based on an individualized assessment by a licensed therapist.
If you have concerns about your child's communication, play, attention, or daily living skills, we'd be happy to guide you.
