In Loving Memory of
Petronila "IYA" F. Laviña
1950 - 2026
It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Petronila “IYA” F. Laviña, who peacefully returned to our Creator on May 24, 2026, at the age of 76.
A devoted and loving housewife, Iya dedicated her life to caring for her family with endless love, patience, and sacrifice. She was the heart of her home—a nurturing mother, a caring wife, and a beloved grandmother whose warmth and kindness touched everyone around her. Her gentle presence, unwavering support, and selfless love created a lifetime of cherished memories that her family will forever hold close to their hearts.
To her loved ones, she was more than a mother and grandmother—she was a source of comfort, strength, and unconditional love. Her legacy will continue to live on through the values she imparted, the lives she touched, and the love she so generously shared.
“Sa aming pinakamamahal na Nanay, Mommy, at Lola, mananatili kang buhay sa aming mga alaala at puso. Ang iyong kabutihan, pagmamahal, at masasayang alaala ay hindi kailanman malilimutan. Patuloy kang mamahalin at ipagdadasal. Pahinga ka na sa piling ng Maykapal. Salamat! Mahal na mahal ka namin.”
Iya is lovingly survived by her beloved husband Juan Laviña; her children Randy Laviña, Arlene Laviña, Evangeline Zacarias, Hazel Co, and Raima Laureste Laviña; her cherished grandchildren Noel, Maureen, Mailyn, Markjhen, Bright Marceliana, Justine, Jasmine Zacarias, Dianne, Quincy, and Miekyla Co; and her beloved great-grandchildren Shy Bermas, Ziah Co, and Jhenairah Laviña. She will also be fondly remembered by relatives, friends, and all whose lives were touched by her kindness and love.
Those who wish to pay their respects may visit Forest Lake Chapel (Gumamela Chapel) from May 25, 2026 to May 30, 2026. Her final interment will take place on May 31, 2026, at 3:00 PM.
We invite all who knew and loved Iya to join us in honoring her life, celebrating her legacy, and cherishing the beautiful memories she shared with us.
May her soul rest in eternal peace.
