During our obstacle course adventure, our little learners:

This playful activity challenged children to listen, remember, and complete a sequence of tasks while strengthening gross motor skills, balance, coordination, visual perception, number recognition, and problem-solving. Following multi-step directions also helps build attention, memory, and confidenceโ€”important foundations for everyday learning.

Every Play & Learn session starts with Circle Timeโ€”a special part of our class where children gather to sing, listen, observe, and learn as a group. This month, our little learners explored Numbers & Nutrition through interactive discussions, songs, and hands-on demonstrations that introduced number recognition, shapes, counting, and early math concepts in a fun and engaging way.

Circle Time also helps children develop listening skills, attention, language, confidence, turn-taking, and social interactionโ€”building a strong foundation for learning before they move on to their hands-on play activities.

Every Play & Learn class includes Fine Motor Play Exploration, where little hands stay busy while little minds grow! As part of our Numbers & Nutrition theme, the children explored a variety of hands-on activitiesโ€”from stacking numbered cups and completing number puzzles to slicing pretend fruits and matching pieces.

Our little learners took on a multi-step obstacle course by picking a numbered puzzle piece, crawling through the rainbow tunnel, and matching it to the correct spot on the number board. Growing number skills through meaningful play. ๐ŸŒด๐Ÿฅฅ๐Ÿ”ข

Our Play & Learn Group explored numbers 5 to 9 through a variety of hands-on math activities. Our Prepper Class practiced tracing numbers 5 and 6 while counting and pasting coconuts onto a tree, while our Toddler Class strengthened counting skills by matching and pasting the correct number of fruits. For numbers 7, 8, and 9, the children completed number puzzles by matching each numeral with its corresponding quantity, reinforcing one-to-one correspondence and number recognition.

These engaging activities help build early math concepts, number formation, problem-solving, visual discrimination, and fine motor skillsโ€”laying a strong foundation for future learning through play.

Our Play & Learn Group Class wrapped up the June cycle with a special ๐๐จ๐จ๐ค ๐‚๐ก๐š๐ซ๐š๐œ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ & ๐€๐ฅ๐ฉ๐ก๐š๐›๐ž๐ญ ๐€๐ซ๐ญ ๐„๐ฑ๐ก๐ข๐›๐ข๐ญ. The children brought their favorite storybook characters to life by dressing up and confidently walking the stage with the books they chose to represent.

Families also had the chance to visit our Alphabet Art Exhibit, featuring selected artworks created by the children throughout the month. Every masterpiece reflected their creativity, growing skills, and the joy of learning through play.
