DRUG TREATMENTS
- Although there's no cure for drug addiction, treatment options can help you overcome an addiction and stay drug-free. Your treatment depends on the drug used and any related medical or mental health disorders you may have. Long-term follow-up is important to prevent relapse.
• TREATMENT PROGRAMS
Treatment programs for substance use disorder usually offer:
- Individual, group or family therapy sessions
A focus on understanding the nature of addiction, becoming drug-free and preventing relapse
Levels of care and settings that vary depending on your needs, such as outpatient, residential and inpatient programs
• MEDICINE AS PART OF TREATMENT
After discussion with you, your health care provider may recommend medicine as part of your treatment for opioid addiction. Medicines don't cure your opioid addiction, but they can help in your recovery. These medicines can reduce your craving for opioids and may help you avoid relapse. Medicine treatment options for opioid addiction may include buprenorphine, methadone, naltrexone, and a combination of buprenorphine and naloxone.
• BEHAVIOR THERAPY
As part of a drug treatment program, behavior therapy — a form of psychotherapy — can be done by a psychologist or psychiatrist, or you may receive counseling from a licensed alcohol and drug counselor. Therapy and counseling may be done with an individual, a family or a group.
• The therapist or counselor can:
- Help you develop ways to cope with your drug cravings
- Suggest strategies to avoid drugs and prevent relapse
- Offer suggestions on how to deal with a relapse if it occurs
- Talk about issues regarding your job, legal problems, and relationships with family and friends
- Include family members to help them develop better communication skills and be supportive
- Address other mental health conditions

It is very important for us to know what will be the effects of drugs and how our body will react when we take drugs.
As far as I know nowadays there are many youth who take drugs. We don't have the right to judge them especially when we don't know what really are the reason why they start using illegal drugs, but it wasn't an excuse to start taking drugs over some problem that can always be fixed, without dragging yourself into danger.
When we take drugs it is very obvious how our body reacts to those substances so here are the symptoms;

• Feeling that you have to use the drug regularly—daily or even several times a day
• Having intense urges for the drug that block out any other thoughts
• Over time, needing more of the drug to get the same effect
• Taking larger amounts of the drug over a longer period of time than you intended
• Making certain that you maintain a supply of the drug
• Spending money on the drug, even though you can't afford it
• Not meeting obligations and work responsibilities, or cutting back on social or recreational activities because of drug use
• Continuing to use the drug, even though you know it's causing problems in your life or causing you physical or psychological harm
• Doing things to get the drug that you normally wouldn't do, such as stealing
• Driving or doing other risky activities when you're under the influence of the drug
• Spending a good deal of time getting the drug, using the drug or recovering from the effects of the drug
• Failing in your attempts to stop using the drug
• Experiencing withdrawal symptoms when you attempt to stop taking the drug

Those are the drug symptoms in the following day we will post about the treatment so please like and follow our page to keep updated on our topic.

In the past week we explained the drug effects, drug awareness and also we had a quiz through social media or online webinars.
But today we have a face to face discussion in GRADE 12-HE so we can share our understanding about drugs and how it can affect our health.

We also ask questions about what they have learned to our discussion and so on, we give some prizes and a token of gratitude for participating and giving their time to listen to our short discussion about drugs.

We are hoping that everyone has learned to avoid and stop using drugs through our face to face discussion and social media campaigns, to make changes, to start our new life.

📢Good afternoon everyone! Take a look into this our new post where we can inspire and help everyone!

WHAT IS DRUGS?
Drugs are chemical substances that can change how our mind and body works, although some drugs are legal and can be used for medical purposes we shouldn't rest assured that it will not harm our body.

WHO IS AT RISK FOR DRUG ADDICTION?
Here are some various risk factors that are likely to be affected by drugs including:

• MENTAL HEALTH- Stimulants drug can make you feel depressed, anxious and paranoid.

• PHYSICAL HEALTH- Drugs can affect your liver, kidney and heart problem or cancer. It can also affect your physical strength where you can act wild and strong.
WHAT I HAVE TO DO?
If you are someone or someone close to you have been overused drugs you have to take an immediate action. If you are using a drug you have to stop using it in order to stop what will be the negative effects on it to your body. If you are in bad condition due to overusing drugs you have to call for help.

WHO TO CALL TO?
When your body has been affected by the drugs you have to take an immediate action, go to the nearest hospital or center so they can cure you.

If you are afraid that you might end up in jail, you have to accept your path, you are the one who caused that, then you must take responsibility other than getting yourself to die.

It's our third social media campaign, Project in ICT where we seek support and cooperation with all of you. Don't forget to like and follow us for more info and keep you updated to our post.
