During pregnancy, your OB-Gyne or midwife may request important laboratory tests such as:

🩸 Complete Blood Count (CBC)
This test checks for anemia (low blood), infection, and your overall blood health.
👉 It helps ensure that mommy has enough iron and that both mom and baby are safe and strong.

🚽 Urinalysis
This detects urinary tract infections (UTI), protein in the urine (which may signal preeclampsia), and signs of kidney problems.
👉 Some infections have no symptoms but can affect pregnancy if untreated.

🍬 HbA1c (Blood Sugar Test)
This measures your average blood sugar level over the past 2–3 months.
