LEPTOSPIROSIS: ALAMIN AT IWASAN! 🦠
Ang leptospirosis ay isang bacterial infection na dulot ng Leptospira. Maaari itong makuha sa direktang contact sa ihi ng infected na hayop o sa tubig, putik, at pagkain na kontaminado nito—kaya mas mahalagang mag-ingat tuwing may baha.
⚠️ Mga sintomas na dapat bantayan:
• Lagnat at panginginig
• Pananakit ng ulo, kalamnan at tiyan
• Pagsusuka o pagtatae
• Pamumula ng mata
• Paninilaw ng mata at balat
• Pagkaunti o kawalan ng ihi
🛡️ Paano makakaiwas?
✅ Iwasang lumusong o maglaro sa baha, ilog, o lawa na maaaring kontaminado.
✅ Magsuot ng kapote, bota o sapatos na proteksiyon kung kinakailangang lumusong sa baha.
✅ Hugasan agad ang kamay at katawan pagkatapos ma-expose sa maruming tubig.
✅ Panatilihing malinis ang pagkain, inuming tubig, at kapaligiran.
👧👦 Para sa mga bata: Kung nababad sa baha at magkaroon ng sintomas, kumonsulta agad sa doktor. Ang maagang pagpapatingin at paggamot ay mahalaga upang maiwasan ang malubhang komplikasyon.
💙 Iwas baha. Iwas kontaminadong tubig. Alagaan ang sarili at pamilya!

2. 🧼 Wash Hands Often — 20+ sec with soap/water; use 60%+ alcohol if unavailable

3. 🙏 Respiratory Etiquette — Cover mouth/nose when coughing/sneezing; dispose tissues & wash hands

4. 😷 Wear Mask When Sick — Especially with symptoms, in crowded/poorly ventilated areas

5. 🪟 Good Ventilation — Open windows/doors; hold activities in well-ventilated spaces

6. 🧹 Clean & Disinfect — Regular cleaning of touched surfaces; keep handwashing stations available

7. 💉 Stay Vaccinated — Keep COVID-19 shots & boosters updated, especially high-risk groups
