In celebration of World Asthma Day 2026 (May 5), Butuan Doctors’ Hospital, in partnership with the Philippine College of Chest Physicians – Northern Mindanao Chapter, recently conducted a seminar-workshop titled “Access to Anti-Inflammatory Inhalers for Everyone with Asthma – Still an Urgent Need.”

The event highlighted the continuing global call for wider access to inhaled corticosteroids—an essential treatment in controlling asthma, reducing exacerbations, and preventing avoidable deaths.
