BREAST CANCER IN MEN? IT CAN HAPPEN, TOO ๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ
When people think of breast cancer, they usually think of women. But did you know that men can also get breast cancer?
Although it is rare, breast cancer in men accounts for less than 1% of all breast cancer cases. Because many people donโt know this, men tend to ignore the early warning signs and seek medical help too late.
What to watch out for:
โข A lump or swelling in the chest or breast area
โข Changes in the ni**le, such as turning inwards
โข Bloody or unusual discharge from the ni**le
โข Redness, dimpling, or sores on the skin over the breast
โข A lump or swelling in the armpit
However, having these symptoms doesnโt always mean itโs cancer, but they should always be checked by a doctor.
Can it be treated?
Yes. Treatment depends on the stage of the disease and may include:
โข Surgery
โข Chemotherapy
โข Radiation therapy
โข Hormone therapy
โข Targeted therapy
