More surgery does not always mean a better result.

In facial surgery, every step has a cost: more dissection, more swelling, more recovery, more complexity, and sometimes more risk.

That is why my planning does not start with the question: “How much can we do?”
It starts with: “What does this face actually need?”

If the problem is limited, the plan should stay focused. If a step does not improve the result in a meaningful way, it should not be included just because it can be done.
The best surgical plan is not the biggest one.

It is the one that is precise, justified, and designed for that specific face.

The real question in facial rejuvenation is not how much to lift.
It’s understanding what actually changed — and where.

Different faces age in different patterns.
When the pattern is read correctly, the result looks natural.
When it isn’t, the result looks operated.

Structure. Support. Balance. Identity.
That’s the difference.

A revision facelift is not about “doing the same surgery again.” It starts with understanding what changed after the first operation.

Scar tissue, altered planes, previous vectors and tissue behavior all matter. They change the way the face moves, the way the anatomy responds, and the way the next plan has to be designed.

That is why, in revision cases, the most important step is not simply choosing a technique.

It is building a new surgical plan based on the face as it is today.
