Thrilled yet humbled to share a special milestone at Dr. PJGMRMC: Our 5th kidney transplant recipient—who bravely endured 2 years on dialysis—is now on the road to recovery after receiving the gift of life from her loving sister, our living related donor. 💙
This marked our institution's first high-immunologic risk transplant—a true team effort to support our patient through every challenge. Huge gratitude to our transplant core team; special thanks to Dr. Michaela Liquete, Dr. Rose Marie Liquete, Dr. Kurt Asperas and Dr. Glenda Pamugas for their expert guidance; to our ever-supportive Medical Center Chief Dr. Jose Ravinar Austria; to CMPS Dr. Andrew Mangiduyos; and to our outstanding nursing service for their tireless care.
