"Serving with Compassion, Caring without Limits."
The Provincial Government of Negros Occidental continues to demonstrate its strong commitment to strengthening healthcare services and ensuring accessible, quality medical care for every Negrense. Through the unwavering support of Governor B**g Lacson, Provincial Administrator Atty Rayfrando P. Diaz II for the initiatives that enhance the capacity of healthcare institutions remain a priority in building a healthier and more resilient province.
As part of this commitment, fourteen (14) newly deployed nurses have officially joined Cadiz District Hospital and will be assigned to the Emergency Room. Their addition to the ER team will significantly enhance the hospital’s ability to provide timely interventions, improve patient outcomes, and ensure efficient delivery of emergency healthcare services to the community.
To prepare them for their vital roles, the newly deployed nurses successfully underwent a comprehensive two-day orientation and training program focused on Emergency Room procedures, protocols, documentation, and essential paperwork. This training aimed to equip them with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to function effectively in the fast-paced and demanding ER environment.
The success of this orientation was made possible through the dedication and invaluable assistance of Nurse Analou Carampatana, Nurse Jed Ryan Dioneza, and Nurse April Rose Vergara who generously shared their expertise and guided the new nurses throughout the training process with the collaborative support of Dr. Lyka Kymm Aicrag - Chief of Hospital and Maam Kat-Kat Ga - OIC Chief Nurse to their commitment in mentoring and supporting the newly hired nurses. It reflects the spirit of teamwork and excellence that defines the Emergency Room of Cadiz District Hospital.
With additional healthcare professionals now serving on the frontlines, Cadiz District Hospital is better equipped than ever to respond to emergencies and provide quality patient care. Together, with the continued support of our provincial leadership and healthcare workforce, we move forward in building a healthier, stronger, and more responsive Negros Occidental.
