MHGAP MENTORING AND COACHING IN MISAMIS ORIENTAL
July 10-13, 2023

The Special Concerns Unit - Community Based Mental Health of the National Center for Mental Health (NCMH), headed by Dr. Rodney C. Boncajes, partnered DOH CHD NM in the Mental Health Gap Action Programme (mhGAP) mentoring and coaching in Misamis Oriental.

The Primary Healthcare Workers were given strategies and updates in the diagnosis and management in medical and drug interventions of service users. The team also monitored their Medicine Access Program for Mental Health and updated their mental health registries with corresponding adjustment of mental health medicine allocation.

Special thanks to: PHO Misamis Oriental, RHU Libertad, RHU Opol, RHU Tagoloan, RHU Claveria, RHU Jasaan, RHU Balingasag, RHU Lagonglong, RHU Salay, RHU Kinoguitan, RHU Talisayan, RHU Magsaysay, and CHO Gingoog.
