Know your risk level and what steps to take:

🟢 CATEGORY I — Low Risk

🐾 Exposure: Touching/feeding pets or licks on smooth, unbroken skin.

🧼 Action: Wash thoroughly with soap and running water. No rabies vaccine needed!

🟡 CATEGORY II — Moderate Risk

🐾 Exposure: Minor scratches, small scrapes without bleeding, or licks on nibbled/broken skin.

💉 Action: Immediate wound washing + Anti-Rabies Vaccine (ARV).

🔴 CATEGORY III — High Risk

🐾 Exposure: Deep bites or scratches with bleeding, licks near eyes/mouth, or bites from stray/wild animals.

🏥 Action: Urgent treatment needed — Rabies Immune Globulin (RIG) + Anti-Rabies Vaccine (ARV) + Tetanus Shot.
