Please be advised that the Medical Library will be closed on the following dates:

📅 June 6, 2026 (Saturday) – Library Rest & Recreation Activity

📅 June 12, 2026 (Friday) – Independence Day (Regular Holiday)

📅 June 15, 2026 (Monday) – Cagayan de Oro Charter Day (Local Holiday)

Library services will resume on the next regular operating day following each closure.

A proud moment for Xavier University Libraries! 💙

Congratulations to our Director, Mr. Rule P. Redondo, LPT, RL, MLIS, for being recognized as one of the awardees of the Kinaadman Student Research Award (KSRA) Program for AY 2025–2026 during the Research Awards Night held on April 29, 2026 by Xavier University Kinaadman University Research Office.

His research, “Assessment of the Academic Library Building Performance: A Basis for Proposed Library Design” reflects his dedication to creating better learning spaces for future generations.
This achievement was made even more meaningful with the valuable support and guidance of his adviser, Dr. Lourdes G. Tolod, who was also present during the awarding ceremony.

Not everyone sees what it takes to get here: the long nights, the quiet doubts, the battles fought far beyond the classroom.

Today, we honor 21 out of 27 who rose above it all in the March 2026 Physician Licensure Examination, bringing XUJPRSM to a 77.78% passing rate, exceeding the national rate of 70.41%.

This is more than a number. It is proof of endurance, of sacrifice, and of knowing your worth even in the hardest moments. Xavier University – Dr. Jose P. Rizal School of Medicine continues to shape physicians who not only serve, but who understand what they stand for and what they deserve.
Carry that strength with you — into every ward, every patient, every life you touch.

Congratulations, Doctors. You’ve earned every bit of this. 🩺🐺
