Heavy, prolonged, or irregular bleeding is never something to ignore.

Sometimes, the cause may be polyps, submucous myoma (fibroids), or a thickened endometrium — conditions that hysteroscopy can diagnose and treat with precision, often without major surgery.

Hysteroscopy allows us to directly see what’s happening inside the uterus, helping patients get accurate diagnosis, targeted treatment, faster recovery, and better outcomes.

If your bleeding feels unusual, excessive, or keeps coming back, don’t wait for it to worsen. Early consult can make all the difference. 🤍

What was initially planned as a laparoscopic appendectomy for severe abdominal pain turned out to be a ruptured endometriotic cyst with significant adhesions.

Through immediate coordination and referral at Tricity Medical Center (Thank you Doc Justinne Patricia Baysa 😊👏), we proceeded with emergency laparoscopic cystectomy and adhesiolysis — allowing the patient to be managed safely through minimally invasive surgery without the need for a large abdominal incision. 💜

We hope to make more of Gynecologic Laparoscopy at Tricity Medical Center, bringing women a safer and less invasive surgical option even for emergency ovarian cyst cases. Smaller cuts, less pain, faster recovery, and better overall outcomes.

Not all abdominal pain is appendicitis — sometimes, the ovaries tell a different story. ✨

May is Preeclampsia Awareness Month 💜

If you’re pregnant, or caring for someone who is, you’ve probably heard the term preeclampsia, but it’s not always something we fully understand until it’s explained simply.

Preeclampsia is a condition that can develop during pregnancy, usually after 20 weeks, and it often starts with high blood pressure. It can affect different organs, which is why regular prenatal visits are so important. We’re not just “checking,” we’re actively making sure both mom and baby stay safe.

Some women have higher risk, but it can happen to anyone. That’s why we always encourage moms to stay consistent with their checkups, monitor their blood pressure, and pay attention to how they’re feeling.

If something doesn’t feel right, like a persistent headache, blurred vision, sudden swelling, or pain in the upper abdomen, it’s always okay to speak up and get checked. It’s never “overreacting” when it comes to your health.

The reassuring part is that with early detection and proper care, we can manage preeclampsia and protect both mom and baby.

Take a few minutes to go through this guide, and feel free to share it with someone who might need it. 💜

Thinking about surgery for an ovarian cyst, myoma, ectopic pregnancy, or even a hysterectomy? It’s completely normal to feel unsure or a little anxious.

The good news is, many of these procedures can now be done through minimally invasive surgery. That means smaller incisions instead of a large open wound, with a gentler experience and a smoother, faster recovery for most patients.

In many cases, these procedures may also be covered by your HMO or PhilHealth, making them more accessible than you might think.🥰

Book your consultation now if you’d like to know more or see if this option is right for you. 😊

Have you ever wondered how we remove a submucous myoma by hysteroscopy without any external cuts?

Come take a look inside the procedure. Through hysteroscopy, we’re able to go inside the uterus using a small camera and carefully remove the myoma in a precise, minimally invasive way.

Even though it can be small, a submucous myoma can cause heavy or prolonged bleeding and start to affect your day-to-day life. And because of its location, it doesn’t just go away on its own. It usually needs proper treatment.

Seeing is understanding. And understanding is the first step to getting the right care.
Book your appointment now and see if we can address your bleeding by hysteroscopy 😊✨️
