Not every dog bite is treated the same. The severity of the wound determines the treatment you need. Early medical care can help prevent rabies and other serious infections.

🟢 Category I – No wound or broken skin; wash the affected area and seek medical advice if needed.
🟡 Category II – Minor scratches or bites; immediate wound washing and anti-rabies vaccination are recommended.
🔴 Category III – Deep bites, multiple wounds, or bites on high-risk areas; immediate treatment with Anti-Rabies Vaccine and ERIG (Rabies Immunoglobulin) may be required.

Huwag ipagsawalang-bahala ang kagat o kalmot ng a*o, pusa, o anumang hayop. Ang rabies ay nakamamatay, ngunit 100% preventable kung maagapan.

✅ Hugasan agad ang sugat gamit ang sabon at umaagos na tubig.
✅ Maglagay ng antiseptic kung mayroon.
✅ Magpatingin agad sa pinakamalapit na Animal Bite Treatment Center.
✅ Kumpletuhin ang anti-rabies vaccination ayon sa payo ng healthcare provider.
