Hand, Foot & Mouth Disease (HFMD) Awareness

HFMD is one of the most common viral illnesses in young children. While it is usually mild, it spreads easily in homes, schools, and daycare centers.

Knowing the early signs can help you seek timely care and prevent further spread.

Remember:
🧼 Wash hands often.
💧 Keep your child well hydrated.
🏠 Keep sick children at home until they are well enough to return.
💊 Antibiotics do not treat HFMD because it is caused by a virus.

When in doubt, consult your pediatrician.
