SDG INTEGRATION:
Primary SDGs Addressed
1. SDG 2: Zero Hunger
This campaign is focused on ending hunger, achieving food security, improving nutrition, and promoting sustainable agriculture. It emphasizes that good health begins with food that is nutritious, safe, and accessible to all and to achieve zero hunger, it is crucial to protect agricultural lands, water resources, and local food production systems, ensuring they can continually nourish communities.
2. SDG 13: Climate Action
The initiative also addresses the urgent need to combat climate change and its impacts. Climate change, through unpredictable weather, floods, and droughts, severely affects crop yields and food availability. By advocating for environmental protection (Kalikasan), the campaign promotes climate-resilient farming, sustainable land use, and eco-friendly food habits.
Supporting SDGs
1. SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being
The campaign encourages healthy eating habits, such as achieving balance through Pinggang Pinoy, reducing malnutrition, and maintaining an active lifestyle.
2. SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production
It focuses on reducing food waste, minimizing the plastic footprint, and supporting locally sourced, sustainably grown food.
3. SDG 15: Life on Land
The campaign emphasizes the importance of protecting ecosystems, maintaining healthy soils, and conserving forests to support long-term agricultural productivity.
