Upang maiwasan ang problema sa pagbuo ng utak at gulugod (brain and spine) ni baby

Kailan dapat ito inumin?

3 Buwan bago mabuntis ay pwede na itong simulan at sa 1st trimester

Saan nakukuha ang folic acid?

Bukod sa mga tableta, ito ang matatagpuan sa mga berde at madahon na gulay (kangkong, spinach) at maasim na prutas tulad ng orange at calamansi.

Tips para sa mga buntis: Ang conge***al anomaly scan (CAS) ay nirerekomenda para sa lahat lalo na sa mga ina na 35 taon pataas, may anak o history ng conge***al na sakit sa pamilya, at may history ng paginom ng alak, gamot or paggamit ng xray sa 1st trimester.
