𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙮 𝘼𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙚. 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙮 𝙎𝙖𝙛𝙚. 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙛 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙇𝙚𝙥𝙩𝙤𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙧𝙤𝙨𝙞𝙨.

Flooding and heavy rains can increase the risk of leptospirosis, a serious infection commonly acquired through water or soil contaminated by infected animals, especially rats.

If you’ve been exposed to flood or dirty water, watch out for symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, muscle pain, yellowing of the eyes (jaundice), and other signs of illness.

Early detection and prompt treatment can save lives. If symptoms develop after exposure, seek medical attention immediately.

Stay safe—avoid floodwater, when possible, use protective gear, and maintain proper hygiene.

Today, 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟴, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, MCU Hospital proudly celebrated 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵—a meaningful day dedicated to supporting mothers, babies, and families through education, awareness, and compassionate care.
