CASHIER – Qualifications & Duties
Qualifications
*High school graduate, Senior High School graduate, or college level.
*Previous cashier, retail, or customer service experience is an advantage.
*Honest, trustworthy, and dependable.
*Good communication and interpersonal skills.
*Basic math and cash-handling skills.
*Knowledge of POS (Point of Sale) systems is preferred.
*Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
*Well-groomed and professional in appearance.
*Can work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities
*Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
*Process cash, card, e-wallet, and other payment transactions accurately.
*Issue receipts and maintain accurate transaction records.
*Balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
*Assist customers with inquiries regarding products, services, and promotions.
*Monitor and report any discrepancies in cash transactions.
*Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area.
*Follow company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and customer service.
*Perform other duties assigned by management.
