PAALALA: March is Rabies Awareness Month

Alam niyo ba?
Ang rabies ay halos 100% nakamamatay kapag lumabas na ang sintomas.
Pero ang good news — 100% maiiwasan ito kung maagapan agad.

Kadalasang nanggagaling ang rabies sa kagat ng a*o o kalmot ng hayop na infected.

Kapag nakagat o nakalmot:

✔ Hugasan agad ang sugat gamit ang sabon at dumadaloy na tubig nang 15 minutes
✔ Lagyan ng antiseptic kung meron
✔ Magpatingin agad sa pinakamalapit na Animal Bite Treatment Center

Tulong-tulong tayo sa pag-iwas sa rabies:

• Ipa-bakuna ang mga alagang a*o at pusa
• Iwasang lumapit sa mga a*ong gala
• Turuan ang mga bata na huwag mang-asar ng hayop

Rabies-free na pusa’t a*o, kaligtasan ng pamilyang Pilipino.
