The Municipality of Carles warmly welcomed the Department of Health โ€“ Western Visayas Center for Health Development (DOH CHD VI) Monitoring Team, headed by Dr. Aimee Marie Gayomali, Medical Officer IV and Head of the Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD) Cluster, during the monitoring of the LIGTAS TIGDAS โ€“ Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR-SIA) 2026.

The monitoring activity underscores the strong partnership between the DOH CHD VI and the Municipality of Carles / Carles Primary Care Facility (PCF) in ensuring the successful implementation of MR-SIA, reaching and protecting children 6โ€“59 months old against measles and rubella, with Vitamin A supplementation as part of the campaign. ๐Ÿ’‰๐Ÿ’™
