IN PHOTOS | CNH BRINGS ESSENTIAL HEALTH SERVICES TO THE COMMUNITY

06 June 2026 – Cavite Naval Hospital participated in the Medical and Dental Mission spearheaded by Naval Installation and Facilities Cavite (NIF Cavite), bringing essential healthcare services closer to the community at Sanja Mayor, Tanza, Cavite.

As part of the activity, CNH provided medical consultation, blood pressure monitoring, nutrition and diet counseling, and blood sugar monitoring to beneficiaries. The mission aimed to promote health awareness, encourage preventive healthcare practices, and address the basic healthcare needs of the community.

Through activities such as this, CNH continues to demonstrate its commitment to improving the health and well-being of the community through quality healthcare services, health education, and compassionate care.

IN PHOTOS | CNH JOINS NIC HEALTHCARE FAIR 2026

05 June 2026- Cavite Naval Hospital (CNH) actively participated in the successful conduct of the NIC Healthcare Fair 2026 as part of the pre-anniversary celebration held at NBC Social Hall, Naval Base Heracleo Alano, Sangley Point, Cavite City.

Spearheaded by the Directorate for Health Services, the event brought together various healthcare providers and services aimed at promoting health awareness and preventive care. CNH provided health booths on Mental Health, Dengue Prevention, HIV/AIDS Awareness, Medical Consultation, Nutrition and Counseling, and Blood Sugar Monitoring.

The Healthcare Fair also featured a wide range of other services, including dental consultation, veterinary services, eye consultation, dermatology consultation, and other health-related activities for the benefit of participants.

Through its active participation, CNH reaffirmed its commitment to supporting health promotion initiatives and delivering healthcare services to the PN community.

LOOK | CNH PARTICIPATES IN THE PN-WIDE SIMULTANEOUS BASIC LIFE SUPPORT TRAINING

04 June 2026 – In support of the Philippine Navy’s continuing efforts to strengthen emergency response and lifesaving capabilities, Cavite Naval Hospital (CNH) actively participated in the PN-Wide Simultaneous Basic Life Support (BLS) Training.

CNH conducted BLS training for personnel of Headquarters Naval Cyber Warfare Force (NCWF) and Headquarters 1st Naval Combat Engineering Battalion (H1NCEB), equipping them with essential knowledge and practical skills necessary to respond effectively during medical emergencies.

The CNH BLS facilitators was led by COL MADELEINE B ERSANDO NC (GSC), Chief Nurse, CNH. The training covered cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), emergency response procedures, and other lifesaving interventions aimed at enhancing the readiness and capability of Philippine Navy personnel.

Recognizing the vital role of Basic Life Support in saving lives and improving emergency response, CNH continues to maintain a pool of trained BLS facilitators who actively conduct BLS training across PN units. Through these efforts, CNH contributes to building a more capable, prepared, and resilient force equipped to respond to medical emergencies both in peace and in operations.

LOOK | CNH JOINS THE NATIONWIDE CERVICAL CANCER SCREENING DAY 2026

28 May 2026 – In observance of Cervical Cancer Awareness Month, Cavite Naval Hospital actively participated in the Nationwide Cervical Cancer Screening Day, reaffirming its commitment to promoting women’s health and strengthening efforts to prevent cervical cancer among Philippine Navy personnel, their dependents, and civilian human resources.

Through the conduct of awareness lectures, on-site screening and testing, and vaccination, CNH promoted a comprehensive approach to cervical cancer prevention. By increasing awareness and improving access to preventive healthcare, these activities highlighted the critical role of early detection and immunization in protecting women from cervical cancer and improving long-term health outcomes.

With this activity, CNH continues to support national efforts to reduce the burden of cervical cancer and foster a culture of prevention, early detection, and wellness. By empowering women with knowledge and access to essential healthcare services, CNH helps save lives through informed decision-making, timely intervention, and preventive care.

22 May 2026 – Cavite Naval Hospital welcomed COMMODORE EDWIN B PRINCILLO PN, Deputy Commander, Naval Installation Command. He was received by COL RACHELLE C JUDILLA MC (GSC), Commanding Officer, CNH.

During the visit, COMMO PRINCILLO inspected the hospital’s existing facilities, assessed repair and improvement requirements, and evaluated the status of the unfinished new hospital building. The visit also served to assess the morale and welfare of CNH personnel, reflecting NIC’s continuing commitment to strengthening healthcare services and supporting the well-being of its personnel.

In his message, COMMO PRINCILLO commended CNH personnel for their unwavering dedication and commitment in continuously delivering quality healthcare services despite limited facilities and resources. He likewise recognized the hospital’s efforts in sustaining and expanding its healthcare services for PN personnel, dependents, and other stakeholders, highlighting CNH’s resilience and commitment to public service. He emphasized that true passion for service drives individuals to give their best despite challenges and limitations. He also assured that the NIC will provide the necessary support to help improve CNH facilities and further strengthen its capability to deliver responsive and quality healthcare services for the benefit of the PN community.

LOOK | HEALTHCARE IN ACTION: CNH JOINS NHA PEOPLE’S CARAVAN 2026

26 May 2026 – Cavite Naval Hospital participated in the conduct of the Nationwide National Housing Authority (NHA) People’s Caravan 2026 held at Barangay Malainen Bago, Naic, Cavite. The caravan forms part of the government’s continuing commitment to bring programs and essential services closer to the public.

As part of the activity, CNH provided medical services to community beneficiaries, making healthcare more accessible to individuals and families who may have limited opportunities to seek consultation and basic health services. By bringing these services directly into the community, the activity supported early identification of health concerns, reinforced preventive healthcare practices, and increased awareness on the importance of timely consultation and continuity of care.

Through collaborative outreach initiatives such as this, CNH continues to strengthen community engagement, expand access to quality healthcare, and contribute to building healthier, more informed, and more resilient communities.

25 May 2026 - In line with the 128th Anniversary Celebration of the Philippine Navy, Cavite Naval Hospital participated in the successful conduct of the PN Integrated Personnel Support Fair by providing Tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS Screening to PN personnel and their families.

By bringing these essential health services beyond hospital walls and closer to the PN community, CNH helps improve access to preventive care, promote proactive health management, and strengthen awareness on TB and HIV/AIDS.
