We are human beings too. Like you, we are parents, wife/husband, son/daughter, employee/employer, etc... pass ako sa mga ganyan. I advise them to look for other doctors that would suit their entitlement, este preference. Sorry, not for me.

Personally, it's not only the intellectual capacity and quotient that is affected. I think also the emotional quotient, attitude and behaviour are influenced by what's being absorbed due to long of screen time. I stand by with the Philippine Society for Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics' recommendation of no gadget use for the 1st 3 years of life and max of 2 hours for kids to adolescents.
Again, it's still the parents' decisive will that will determine their children's future.

LEPTOSPIROSIS CASES RISE IN CAVITE CITY; PUBLIC URGED TO AVOID FLOODWATERS

Health officials have warned residents to avoid wading in floodwaters following a rise in leptospirosis cases in the city.

According to Jeffrey dela Rosa of the City Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (CESU), infections linked to contaminated floodwater are increasing.

Data as of September 1 show eight reported cases, with three patients currently under treatment, one recovering, and four deaths due to complications.

The Department of Health (DOH) also advised the public not to swim or play in floodwaters. Those exposed are urged to seek medical consultation within 24 to 48 hours.

I am an advocate of breastfeeding. I am part of the 2005 pioneer advocacy group supported then by the 1st gentleman Arroyo with our Dept chair Dr Egay Ortiz, and neonatologist-consultants mam Mianne Silvestre, Tita Uy, Aurora Gloria Libadia, sir Blas Mantaring at the Department of Pediatrics of the UP-PGH.
Breastmilk is PERFECT. Should I say more? Pediatricians are expected to explain and encourage breastfeeding--- its benefits and advantages. Some do not even advice proper latching technique which is very crucial in the success of satisfying and giving what is best to babies. And most importantly encouragement and confidence expectedly should be coming from Pediatricians. I take time to explain everything about breastfeeding to my mommies with their newborns, kahit abutin ng 1 hour sa clinic!

Minsan lang magiging baby ang mga anak natin. Hindi na yan mauulit. Yung tyaga at oras na ibibigay natin sa exclusive breastfeeding ay hindi nyo pagsisihan habambuhay. Ang panunaw, resistensya at matibay na katawan ay maasahan sa mga batang laki sa gatas ng ina. Di na din kailangan ng vitamins. Ito ang pinaka magandang maipamamana ng isang ina sa kanyang mga anak na dadalhin nya habambuhay.
Mahaba pa yan, pinagtya tygaan ko yan to explain and discuss everything. Including their queries and misconceptions kaya inaabot ng 1 hour sa clinic ang patient 😅

Pero, wala ni isa man lang ang nagsisi sa mga pumili na mag exclusive breastfeeding! Happy si mommy, happy si baby, happy ang family (sa 6-8k monthly savings) and syempre fulfilling sa akin 🙏 🥰❤️
